Come as you are. Massages and Acupuncture are always performed with conservative and professional draping so that clients feel secure and relaxed. Only disrobe to a level that is comfortable to you.

It rarely 'hurts'. The most pain that people normally experience is a dull ache around the base of the inserted needle, or a tingling feeling when the needle is inserted. Points at the extremities, like toe or finger ends, can sometimes be a little sharp upon insertion, but the sensation is usually very brief. Please let your practitioner know if you experience any discomfort that lasts more than a second or two.

The NADA protocol consists of the insertion of small, stainless-steel, disposable acupuncture needles into five points on the outer surface of a person’s ear. The points used in the NADA protocol are Sympathetic, Shen Men, Kidney, Liver, and Lung. It is traditionally used for behavioral health, including addiction, PTSD, and co-occuring disorders.

Among its benefits are self-control, objectivity, affect tolerance, enhanced mental flexibility, equanimity, improved concentration, mental clarity, and emotional intelligence. Mindfulness gives us tools to relate to others and one's self with kindness, acceptance and compassion.

We use Hypoallergenic rice bran oil for massages. Once we have determined that there are no skin sensitives , we may also use a variety of liniments, essential oils and balms to promote relaxation and healing.

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, 24 hours notice is required. If less than 24-hours notice is given, the fee for the missed appointment will be due and payable in full, with the exception of emergencies.
